guide2: Treehouse Kid and Craft

Treehouse Kid & Craft is a family-run and community supported kid’s shop + creative space located in both Athens and Decatur, GA. They offer a range of well-designed and responsibly-made products for babies, kids, families, and crafters of all ages. Treehouse offers toys, supplies, and activities that promote creative play and learning.

In addition to the shop, Treehouse has a classroom space where they teach a variety of classes that encourage creative thinking, problem solving, and hands on activities. They have an awesome team of instructors whom inspire everyone at Treehouse and the community on a daily basis.

Treehouse was started with a vision to create a place where people in the community and beyond would feel welcome, meet friends, and be inspired to make , create, and live happy. It has become just that… and more!

Treehouse Athens was founded in 2010 by Kristen Bach. She is a mom, photographer, educator, and avid maker. She loves to work, teach, and inspire at treehouse kid & craft and is proud of what it has become.  When she is not working at Treehouse, she is taking photos for some of her favorite kid’s companies like: Blabla, Apple Park, and more!

In 2015, Kristen and her sister Kim opened up TREEHOUSE Decatur.  Kim is also an avid maker and has enjoyed offering the Decatur community quality goods and creative activities. Treehouse Kid & Craft is located on 815 W Broad Street. It’s open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-6 and on Sundays from 12-4.
